Hard times for me, busy busy days...It's been AGES since I wrote my last post and I couldn't wait to come back again! Prepare a cosy plaid and a cup of tea because this will be a loooong post about my favourite red lipsticks.
Giornate pesanti, super devastanti e impegnatissime...mi sembra un secolo che non scrivo sul blog e ne sentivo proprio l'esigenza, quindi eccomi qui con un post CHILOMETRICO (preparate plaid e tazza di the) sui miei rossetti ROSSI preferiti.
I recently had a clean up of my make up drawers so I thought it would be nice to show you my TOP REDS.
Recentemente ho un po' risistemato la mia postazione trucco quindi, maneggiando rossetti di ogni genere e sorta, ho pensato di mostrarvi i miei rossi TOP.

- Mac Relentlessly Red (€ 19,00) Lui è stato il mio primo rossetto Mac in assoluto ed è stato subito amore. L'ho scoperto perché l'ha usato la mia insegnante di make up Eleonora Juglair (http://www.eleonorajuglair.it/, andate a vedere i suoi lavori perché sono spettacolari) durante una lezione di trucco per sfilate e dopo averlo cercato per mesi (era sempre esaurito) me lo sono fatto comprare dalla mia migliore amica a San Francisco (e quindi l'ho pagato anche meno!). E' un retro matte ed è un rosso con del rosa all'interno (nella foto sembra molto più fuxia, dipende dalla luce), opaco ma super confortevole. Anche la durata è più che buona. Lo metto spessissimo d'estate perché trovo sia perfetto con l'abbronzatura. This was my first Mac lipstick and it was love at first sight. I discovered it because my make up teacher used it during a fashion make up lesson. After looking for it for months (it was always sold out!) I asked to my best friend to buy it for me in the USA during her honey moon trip. It's a red with some pink inside (it seems fuxia in this picture but it depends on the lights), it's a retro matte but super comfortable and also its lasting power is great. I wear it mostly during summer because I think it's perfect with my tanned skin.
- Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil col. Red Square (€ 26,50) Il rosso aranciato per eccellenza, opaco, stesura super facile, durata buona (non eccelsa, devo essere sincera), mi piace tantissimo perché fa risaltare molto il colore dei miei occhi e poi è anche molto pratico da portare in viaggio o da tenere in borsa perché essendo un matitone non necessita di matita labbra per essere riapplicato con precisione. The perfect orangy red. Matte, super easy application, good lasting power (not excellent, I must be honest), I like it because it makes my eyes pop and also because it's a good carry-on product as it does not require a lip pencil to be applied (it's a pencil itself!)
- Rimmel by Kate Moss n.111 Kiss of Life (€ 7,00 circa) Lui è il rosso per tutte le occasioni. Semi opaco, super cremoso ma allo stesso tempo duraturo, trovo che sia il tipo di rosso che sta bene a tutte, né troppo caldo né troppo freddo e poi ha un profumo delizioso! This is the "all occasions" red. Semi-matte, super creamy but long lasting, I think it's the kind of red that suits every skin tone because it's not too warm nor too cool and it has a delicious smell!
- Nabla Diva Crime col. Rouge Mon Amour (€ 12,90) Rosso pieno, intenso, colore a mio parere davvero bellissimo. Questi rossetti hanno una consistenza molto particolare, sono molto cremosi (infatti attente all'applicazione soprattutto con i colori accesi) ma dopo circa 20 secondi si fissano e hanno una durata P-A-Z-Z-E-S-C-A!! La sensazione sulle labbra è quella di avere un velo di velluto, non seccano per niente e resistono benissimo a cibo e bevute. Very intense red, beautiful beautiful colour. These lipsticks have a very weird consistency, they are very creamy (be careful during application) but after 20 seconds they set perfectly and they have an INCREDIBLE lasting power! The sensation is to wear a veil of velvet on the lips, they don't dry them and they last to food and drinks.
- Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet col. Personne ne Rouge (€ 10,00 circa) Questo è il mio rosso più portabile, quello che utilizzo anche per l'ufficio, perché non è troppo accesso ma dà quel tocco di colore che ravviva il look. Inoltre, ha una durata fenomenale, è proprio una tinta labbra che si fissa perfettamente e risulta assolutamente impalpabile, ci si dimentica quasi di avere un rossetto. This is my most wearable red, the one I choose also for work, because it's not too bright but it gives that hint of colour that enlivens my look. Moreover, it has a great lasting power as it's a stain that sets perfectly. It's so lightweight that you risk to forget that you're wearing a lipstick!
- Clinique Pop lipstick Cherry Pop (€ 23,50) Lui vince lo scettro. Colore fotonico (è un rosso ciliegia intenso), durata eccelsa (contiene anche il primer all'interno), formulazione perfetta per me, ossia cremosa e idratante ma long lasting. Fa sembrare le labbra rimpolpate e levigate e la gamma di colori in generale secondo me è azzeccatissima. Sono appena usciti alcuni nuovi colori davvero stupendi (date un'occhiata a Rebel Pop) quindi mi sa che mi toccherà cedere di nuovo! HE is THE WINNER. Wonderful colour (a very intense cherry red), great lasting power (it contains also a lip primer), perfect formulation because it's creamy and hydrating but long lasting. It makes my lips fuller and smoother and the range of colours is beautiful. They released some new colours for fall/winter so I think I have to surrender again (take a look of Rebel Pop!)
- Revlon Colorstay moisture Stain col. New York Scene (€ 12,00 circa) Questi rossetti liquidi sono una via di mezzo tra un gloss e una tinta. Hanno le caratteristiche di un gloss perché sono molto lucidi ma tingono le labbra come una tinta, lasciando un velo di colore una volta che la parte lucida viene via (la durata è di 3 orette circa). Non sono super performanti ma li trovo comodi perché comunque li trovo idratanti, pratici da applicare e molto discreti, quindi adatti per qualsiasi occasione. These liquid lipsticks are half way between a gloss and a stain, as they are glossy but they leave a hint of colour on the lips after about 3 hours. They're not super performing but I think they're handy because they're hydrating, easy to apply and very discreet, so perfect for any occasion.
- Nars Audacious lipstick col. Olivia (€ 30,00) Adoro questa linea di rossetti per tre motivi: il packaging, i colori, la qualità. Non battono quelli di Clinique solo perché il prezzo è veramente elevato. Olivia è un colore molto particolare, perché è un rosso scuro con una punta di marrone all'interno, che lo rende molto anni '90, giusto per restare in linea con il trend che sta spopolando per questa stagione. Sono estremamente cremosi, molto saturi, ma l'applicazione è comunque semplice. Possiedo anche un nude (Anita) e non ho riscontrato differenze. La durata, per essere dei rossetti cremosi, è notevole. Questo colore mi piace moltissimo la sera, quando la mia pelle non è abbronzata perché crea quell'effetto un po' grunge e da buona rockettara quale sono non può che entusiasmarmi! I love these lipsticks for three reasons: the packaging, the colurs, the quality. They don't win on Clinique Pop lipsticks only because they're really expensive. Olivia is a beautiful dark red with a touch of brown that makes it very 90's (the new fall/winter 2015/2016 trend). They're extremely creamy and intense but the application it's easy. I also have a nude (Anita) and I didn't find differences. The lasting power is really really great. I like this colour because it gives that "grunge" effect that I love, I'm a beauty addict but still a rocker! ;)
