Hi beauties and...happy new year!!! It's the first day of the year, 2.30 PM, I woke up an hour ago and I feel guilty because I did not write on my blog for all Christmas holidays! I passed a wonderful Christmas with my family and a very fun NYE. I'm ready to start again with a new year. 2013 has been full of challenges but above all very very tiring. But now let's go with December favorites:
1. Equilibra Shampoo protettivo colore (circa € 4,00): ho ricevuto questo shampoo in una MyBeautybox, mi sembra quella di Ottobre ma ho iniziato ad utilizzarlo da poco perché dovevo terminare altri shampoo. Ho recentemente fatto un po' di shatush sulle lunghezze e sono rimasta davvero colpita da questo shampoo. Contiene aloe, argan e cheratina ed ha un INCI buono, senza parabeni, SLES e SLS. La prima cosa che ho notato è la lucentezza che dona ai miei capelli e poi il fatto che mi durano puliti un giorno in più rispetto al solito, mantenendo una morbidezza incredibile. Lo stra-consiglio se avete i capelli colorati o con mèches perché fa risaltare il colore tantissimo.
1. Equilibra color protection shampoo (around € 4,00): I received this shampoo in one of MyBeautyboxes but I started using it this month because I had to finish some other shampoos. I recently made some shatush on my hair and I have been really impressed by this shampoo. It contains aloe, argan and keratin and also INCI is good, without parabens, SLES and SLS. The first thing I noticed is the shine that gives to my hair and also the fact that they stay clean one day more than usual, keeping an incredible smoothness. I really recommend this if you have colored hair because it brings out the color so much.
2. I Provenzali Olio di mandorle dolci puro 100% (€ 6,50): purtroppo dopo periodi molto stressanti spesso soffro di pitiriasi rosea, una dermatite molto fastidiosa che mi dura circa un mesetto e che colpisce il tronco del mio corpo, con numerose chiazze rosse e un prurito tremendo. L'olio di mandorle è un rimedio naturale che allevia il prurito e idrata tantissimo la mia pelle che tende a seccarsi molto e a squamare a seguito di questa dermatite. E' la prima volta che utilizzo questo de I Provenzali (che tra l'altro è una ditta di Genova, la mia città) e devo dire che mi sto trovando molto bene. Lo spalmo più volte al giorno e mi sta aiutando molto.
2. I Provenzali almond pure oil (€ 6,50): unfortunately after very stressing periods I often suffer from a bad dermatitis that lasts about one month and that affects the upper part of my body with many red spots and a terrible itch. Almond oil is the only natural remedy that relieves my itch and that hydrates my skin a lot. It's the first time I use this one (that it's produced by a factory here in Genoa, my city) and I like it very much. I apply it many times a day and it is absolutely helping me.
3. Kiko Mat Base Corrector (€ 8,90): questo primer di Kiko mi ha aiutato tantissimo a mantenere il trucco perfetto durante le feste di Natale, quando ho osato un po' di più e ho creato dei look più sofisticati. E' una base opacizzante perfetta per chi ha la pelle oleosa o mista come me. Applicandolo si sente proprio che assorbe il sebo in eccesso e il vostro fondotinta preferito aderirà molto meglio. Sconsiglio di utilizzarlo con fondotinta opacizzanti perché seccherà un po' troppo la pelle, ma con fondotinta liquidi classici come il mio Pupa Active Light è perfetto, non ho dovuto nemmeno applicare la cipria.
3. Kiko Mat Base Corrector (€ 8,90): this primer by Kiko helped me a lot to keep my make up in place during Christmas holidays, when I created some more sophisticated looks. It's a mat base perfect for combination or oily skin. When you apply it you can feel that it absorbs all the excess sebum and your foundation will adhere much better. Do not use it with mat foundations because it will dry your skin too much, but combined with classic creamy foundations like my Pupa Active Light it is perfect, I did not need to use powder at all.
4. Yves Rocher Peeling Netteté Végetale (circa 2,50): questo peeling fa parte di un duo monodose esfoliante + maschera idratante. La maschera l'ho utilizzata in una volta sola e non era male, ma quello che mi ha colpita è l'esfoliante ai cereali. Ha davvero pulito la mia pelle in profondità e l'ha lasciata morbidissima e luminosa. Tra l'altro come vedete dalla foto non l'ho utilizzato tutto, quindi dura per almeno due applicazioni. Lo ricomprerò sicuramente, ha un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.
4. Yves Rocher Netteté Végetale peeling (around € 2,50): this peeling is part of a single dose duo with scrub + hydrating mask. I used the mask in one time and it was not bad, but what really impressed me was the cereal exfoliating cream. It really deeply cleaned my skin, leaving it very smooth and bright. It will last for two or three applications. I will surely repurchase it because it has a really good value for money.
5. Rossetto Rimmel Kate Moss in Kiss of Life (€ 7,90): è il rosso mat perfetto. L'ho usato durante cene aziendali, aperitivi con le amiche, cenoni in famiglia ed è durato TUTTA la sera senza sbavare minimamente e senza trasferirsi nemmeno sul bicchiere. Inoltre non secca per niente le labbra, anzi, sembra quasi di non averlo. E' assolutamente un rossetto che consiglio, ottima resa ad un prezzo davvero contenuto, oltre alla bellezza dei colori.
5. Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in Kiss of Life (€ 7,90): it's the perfect mat red. I wore it during work dinners, happy hours with friends, family dinners and it lasted ALL night without smudging and without staining the glass. Moreover it does not dry your lips at all, it almost seems not to wear it. It's absolutely a recommended lipstick: low price and beautiful colors.
6. Smaltino glitter Bottega Verde: questo smalto faceva parte di una confezione natalizia di mini smalti che ho acquistato a Novembre. Si tratta di semplici glitter dorati, argentati e azzurri che ho utilizzato spesso sulle mie nail art natalizie. Il bello di questo smaltino è che cambia a seconda del colore sul quale lo si applica, tirando fuori glitter diversi ogni volta. Molto carino.
This nail polish was part of a Christmas set I bought in November. It is a simple glittery nail polish with gold, silver and blue glitters that I used a lot on my Christmas nail arts. The beautiful thing is that it changes depending on the color on which it's applied. Very cute.
